"The friends help their neighbours as part of their countdown. How does helping others make a celebration feel more special? Can you think of a time you helped someone and it made you feel good?"

Cultural Traditions

"The characters track the crescent moon to know when Eid is coming. Are there traditions in your family that mark the start or end of a special time?"

Moon Observation

"Bear Saeed watches the moon each night. Have you ever noticed how the moon changes shape? Why do you think the moon is important in this story?"
